The coal industry, which is irreplaceable, has been the main pillar of China’s economic development. However, in recent years, China has witnessed more gas explosions because of excessive coal mining. As a result, the monitoring equipments were destroyed after accidents, leading to false judgment to the failures. We cannot learn a good lesson from the only field inference made by experts. Thus, it is particularly outstanding and more urgent to strengthen the construction of the coal mine monitoring system, improve comprehensive analysis and management decision-making tools.Based on the problems in the existing monitoring system, this paper aims to design a set of mine black box integrated underground environmental monitoring and video surveillance. It is intelligent data storage and monitoring system, integrated high-tech products such as electronic technology, trace signals, data information processing technology and so on. The system is composed of multi-parameter environmental monitoring, video surveillance, display devices, information storage devices.Through the proof of system scheme and the design of the software and hardware, using the core i.mx27, which is a powerful and low power consumption processor, in order to facilitate the processing of video signals, local display and high-capacity local data storage. Due to the relatively slow changes in the coal mine environment parameters, the sensor output signal of unity adopted as the standard frequency signal in order to improve the reliability of data transmission about hardware design, rapid data processing and alternating. From the aspect of software, improve high-frequency sampling, frequency of storage exceptions trigger frequency acquisition strategy. Through data fusion, for the drift of the sensor data collection, which improves the accuracy of the system to collect information and reduces the redundancy of multiple data. application Fuzzy Control Theory to the system data processing, the result of Simulation example show that the system has good accuracy, stability and reliability. In addition, the underground black box barrier combination of features, the use of lithium batteries to ensure uninterrupted work in the system when the unexpected power-down, the monitoring system, increase system reliability, and comprehensive real-time.Though static analysis of the shell of the black box, the results show that in the recessed applied load1MPa, the max deformation is0.1mm. According to the national standard GB3836.2-2000, such deformation does not affect the explosion performance of electric cabinet. The greatest stress is less than135MPa, which is far less than the failure stress of the shell. Researching the dynamic simulation of the shell of the black box, whose results show that the shell of the black box can achieve the expected effect. When a gas explosion, the shell of the black box can completely protect for monitoring terminal and hard disk data. Though the analysis of simulation software, which provides a strong theoretical basis on the design of this systemThrough building the test platform, doing experiments on black box, these experiments include explosion-proof performance, hydraulic, and electrical performance and safety performance. Through the whole system performance testing, the results show that the underground black box system can have larger breakthrough on the aspect of lower power consumption, lower cost, real-time, accuracy and reliability. The whole system can achieve the function of black box.
