Since CW Tang prepared a double-layer electroluminescent devices withNPB/Alq3in1987. The OLED become popular all over the world. TraditionalOLED materials contain polymer and small molecule. But we use more and moresmall molecule.Because it is difficult to synthetic and pure polymers. And we canpure small molecule easily with the vacuum evaporation method. However we wastemost materials in the production process, so it is high cost. This is the most one of thebottlenecks in the OLED display produced. We should develop a new type ofmaterial.Calixarene compounds are important in the use because of their own uniquecharacteristics. It is just because of these unique structures, the calixarene there aremany unique features, the ability to transfer can be wrapped in atoms, molecules, andmany other unique features, many aspects of the study has been the forefront ofresearch.The Dendrimer is now a hot research too, especially in optoelectronicapplications. Because of the huge structure of the dendrimers,it can be effectivelydispersed the other ingredients, to improve efficiency. At the same time, it is easy tomake film and produce. So it is very important in use.The main work in this thesis is to study the structure of these three organiccompounds, and to synthetize eight compounds. We synthesized four compounds witha carbazole replace the calixarene and four compounds with the second generationcarbazole replace the calixarene. And we snalysis them with NMR and massspectrometry. We also test and analysis of a series of optical and electrical propertiesand potential applications focus mainly through the solution UV spectra, fluorescencespectra. Because of its good film forming properties, we make a simple film devicestructure, and analyzed with infrared spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy. Atlast we found that it has good optical performance value. They can be used as themain material in the OLED devices because of their own film-forming properties,good solubility, easy synthesis, and other characteristics. It will play a key role in thefuture.
