The development direction of modern manufacturing industries is standardizeddigital manufacturing, automation, high precision and high efficiency. Thetraditional design and manufacture can’t satisfy the product development needs,backward processing technology and production patterns can be difficult to adapt tochanges of the market. Adopting advanced technology, precision machining,digitization, automation and so on, and has become the inevitable trend of modernindustry for the future development.Fine Blanking technology researched in this article, is a kind of advanced metalpressure processing method, is high precision, high efficiency, high quality, lowenergy consumption, high added-value processing in the modern manufacturing.Fine blanking technology has become an important forming technology, can get highprecision,100%clean cut ratio of a surface, interchangeability, high quality parts,and reduces grinding, machining, and so on. And fine blanking technologysignificantly reduces costs, increases productivity. Fine Blanking processes for theautomobile industry reduce production costs; improve vehicle performance,increased efficiency important means of income. Fine Blanking materialsthemselves are important means to achieve lightweight automobile achieved thepurpose of vehicle energy saving and emission reduction.In this paper, the selected transmission Reverse-gear selector fork fine-blankingparts is used for technology research, design the two process program, the traditional process scheme and advanced process scheme. According to the traditional processscheme, this paper design and manufacture four sets of molds for the fine blankingcompound moulds, chamfered mould, bended mould, trimming mould. In advancedtechnology, design fine blanking progressive compound tools. Progressive mold hasa high degree of automation, high production efficiency and high technical content.For mass production, progressive mould can highlight more its advantages andeconomic benefits.Mold is the core of the products. Mold design and manufacture have a directimpact on the quality of the products. This paper introduces detailedly thefine-blanking mold design process, including the center of pressure and each forcecalculation, the strip layout, the number and arrangement of the pressure pin andejector pin, die clearance and the edge size of punch and die.
