For the past decades, enaminones have emerged as versatile syntheticintermediate because they contain more active reaction points. The synthesis methodof enaminones is simple and materials are cheap. These compounds combine theambident nucleophicity of enamines with the ambient electrophilicity of enones, sotheir applications on the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds and pharmaceutical andchemical precursors has become the object of common concerns of pharmacologistsand chemists. Quite amount of documents have been published in the synthesis ofsingle-heterocyclic ring, fused heterocyclic compounds and coordination chemistry.Thienopyridinones with important pharmacological activity is often used fortreatment of malignant tumors, autoimmune disease or pathological inflammation,such as asthma, colon cancer and metabolic syndrome. For this reason, many scholarshave done a lot of research works to deeply explore the synthetic methods, severalarticles have been reported.Recently we have been devoting our efforts towards applications on enaminonesand achieved interesting results. Upon the research achievement of our group inheterocyclic compounds application of these compounds, my thesis starts fromenaminones-containing thiophenes, aiming to develope a new synthetic strategy toprovide a general and simple route and mild conditions to synthesize fusedheterocyclic compounds which are thienopyridinones. The thesis mainly includes twoaspects:(1) Electrophilic and nucleophilic reagents react with enaminones-containingthiophenes, two types of thienopyridinones are synthesized through a differentreaction mechanism. (2) There are several advantages such as cheap raw materials, simple operation,high yield, short reaction time, easy to be separated, good selectivity and lowpollution by changing the experimental conditions to optimize the reaction.
