Research On Design And Comfort Of Upscale Uniform

China has seen sustained and rapid economic development over the recent years,and the hotel industry is rising rapidly, however, with the increase of internationalexchanges, the hotel industry competitions is getting more and more obvious, amongthe all the hotels, some upscale hotels are survived and boomed, while some aresubjected to severe impact. In addition to the size of the hotel and the difference ofmanagement concept, the hotel’s corporate image development of the hotel is also avery important part. Hotel uniform, with its occupation, identity, aesthetic as the mainfeature, is a manifestation of corporate image of the most direct form, an importantcomponent of the embodiment of corporate image and displaying the hotel culture.To understand the current situation and existing specific problems among theupscale hotel uniforms, four/five star representative luxury hotels and somemedium-sized clothing enterprise were investigated in the present paper. Based on theresults of the survey, the design and the comfort of the upscale hotel uniforms werestudied, and the main content were as follows:(1) Listed a large number of data and the hotel uniform design sketch byreviewing materials, field investigation, questionnaire and interview methods, andthen summarized and analyzed the the current situation and existing specific problemsamong the upscale hotel uniforms.(2) Obtained all the factors affecting the comfort of hotel uniforms by survey,and understanded the requirments of staffes for the comfort by field survey andquestionnaire. According to the results, designed the uniform, and then did thequestionnaire investigation and visit based on the trying-on results.(3) Study of upscale hotels uniform design. Designed the uniforms based on theinvestigation of the enterprise culture and business philosophy, and also taken thehotel environment and other factors into consideration. (4) Study of upscale hotels uniform comfort. Analyzed and studied the comfortof the uniform after the analysis the requirement of the comfort and the existingproblems.Based on the systematical study of the the above content, the followingconclusions can be drawn:(1) To improve its market competitiveness, the reqiurment for the quality ofservice is increasing, accordingly, the requirement for the uniform design and comfortis also increasing. The study which combined the design and the comfort can not onlyenchance the hotel imagine, but also can create good working conditions, thus, in thisway, can promote the work efficiency, and have guiding significance.(2) Through a lot of field research and design example, the following findingscan be found: Upscale hotel uniform style should be selected according to its location,the building style and the hotel property and other factors; the uniform pattern shouldbe selected according to the working class and the nature of the work; uniform colorselection should be based on the series of hotel uniforms style and hotel decorationstyle choices; uniform fabric should be selected according to the style and worker’srequirement for comfort; uniform accessories should be chosen according to the styleof clothing, posts and the ceremonial needs.(3) Upscale hotel uniform series design and production processes were obtainedthrough a large number of design and production examples, including fieldworkdesign positioning, putting forward a series of design, modification, sampling, andplace an order on revision of production of the seven procedures．Among all the parts,fieldwork is a key work, including hotel. regional customs, hotel building style, nature,the overall style, style restaurants, tourist types as well as the hotel staff individualconditions and so on, and then positioning design, putting forward a series ofsolutions. The practical application and a return visit were used to validate therationality of the design of a series of procedure.(4) According to the investigation and field survey, we can find the importanceof the fabric and structure selection to the uniform comfort. The choice of fabric includesits own nature and visual comfort, color selection; structure design includs therelaxation quantity, dart and segmentation line position. Finally, uniforms structuredesign method which can promote the special uniforms comfort were obtained, andthe samples were made. Paying a return visit to the hotel worker to verify the role thatthe structure play on the uniform.The innovations of this paper were as follows:(1)the first analysis of the characteristics of the upscale hotel;(2)detailed analysisof uniform styles of different architectural styles/different nature;(3)With luxury hotelin Changchun City as research object, listed uniform styles of different style anddifferent nature, respectively, summarized series design flow, and finally form adesign process suitable for the formation of the upscale hotel uniform.The factors that affect the comfort of uniform were originally studied in thecurrent paper, and corresponding solutions were proposed to promote the comfort ofthe uniform of specical position. On this basis, the sample clothing were made, triedon.
