Capillary column was a key part of capillary electrophoresis (CE), and also was the key factor of sucessful electrophoresis. Modified capillary could effectively control electroosmotic flow (EOF) and improve physical adsorption. For detection of inorganic anion by CE, quaterisation nano latex-coated capillary was analytical column.1. Different partical size of nano latex were synthesized:trimethylamine amination polyemulsion,93 nm and 197 nm, and triethylamine amination polyemulsion,94 nm and 181 nm. By the characterzation of nano latex partical, trimethylamine amination polyemulsion of 93 nm and triethylamine amination polyemulsion of 94 nm were selection as coating material fristly. Then, two nano latex-coated capillary column were made by nano latex coated to the inner wall of fused silica capillary by using dynamic adsorption. Finally, the modified capillary column were characterzed.2. A rapid CE metod was developed for the determination of nitrate and nitrite in ham sausage by trimethylamine amination polyemulsion coated capillary column. The CE method was optimized with a running buffer of 20 mmol/L Tris and 11.25 mmol/L HC1O4 (pH 7.13), and an applied separation voltage of-20 kV over a nano latex-coated capillary of 50μm i.d.×48 cm (39.5 cm to the detector window), which gave a baseline separation of nitrate and nitrite within 5 min. Under the detection at 214 nm, the CE method was a good linear relationship and gave the limits of quantification (S/N=3) at 5μg/mL for nitrate and nitrite. The nitrate and nitrite in ham sausage were determined by the proposed method, and the results were beyond the national standards.3. A simple and practical capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) metod was investigated for bromate in tap water, and the on-line concentration technology of bromate was developed in the same time. With the optimized CZE method, the limits of detection (S/N=3) was 80 (μg/mL, and the recovery of bromate was 93.6%. Meanwhile, the optimize field-amplified sample stacking (FASS) conditons were obtained with a mixture solution of 20 mmol/L Tris and 10 mmol/L HClO4 (pH 7.32) as the running buffer solutin,-20 kV as the separation voltage,15 kV×100 s as sample amount,50 mbar×10 s as length of water and 214 nm as the detection wavelength. With the optimized FASS method, the limit of detemination (S/N=3) of bromate was 1.5μg/mL, the times of preconcentration was 53, and the sensitivity was also enhanced one order of magnitude.
