Semi-solid rheological forming technology can be used to improve more themechanical properties of high-strength aluminum alloy. In recent years a series of featuresof inclined cooling plate semi-solid rheological forming as short process and lowproduction cost had been becoming one of research hot points for researchers, who hadbeen improving and optimizing this technology. Semi-solid rheological extrusion castingtechnology has both the semi-solid forming and squeezing casting, which can used toprepare all sorts of excellent preparation components and parts. So it becomes also aresearch hot point.Semi-solid ZL109alloy was prepared using the self-designed and manufacturedinclined cooling plate device. The effect of forming parameters on the structure andproperties of squeezing casting of semi-solid rheological alloy were analyzed. On the basisof experiments, the formation mechanism of semi-solid alloy microstructure prepared byinclined cooling plate was discussed.Preparation of semi-solid ZL109alloy was used an orthogonal experiment method.The effects of pouring temperature, runner lengths, and vibration frequency on semi-solidZL109alloy microstructure were researched by quantitative metallographic method.The ZL109alloy specimens were prepared under the different pouring temperature.The effects of pouring temperature on ZL109alloy microstructures were analyzed. Theeffects of different cooling length on inclined metal plate on semi-solid ZL109alloysmicrostructures were explored.Preparation of semi-solid ZL109alloys was made by three-dimensional vibration ofinclined cooling plate. The effects of the vibration frequency, dimension on ZL109alloymicrostructures were researched.By means of the mechanical properties of semi-solid squeeze casting samples, theeffects of vibration frequency and the pouring temperature on the microstructures andproperties of semi-solid rheoforming squeezing casting ZL109alloy were analyzed. Thestudies have shown that mechanical properties of semi-solid rheological squeeze castingparts have been improved greatly.On basis of experiments, the formation mechanism of semi-solid ZL109alloymicrostructures was investigated. The effects of cooling length of declined metal plate, pouring temperature and vibration conditions on the microstructure formation ofsemi-solid ZL109alloy were analyzed.
