Plate and strip are widely used in various fields of our national economy. The quality of plate and strip is closely linked to the shape of plate and strip. The control of the shape should be attributed to the control of plate crown, i.e. the control of roll gap in mills. There are many factors which affect the plate crown, among these factors, roll bending deflection, deformation between roll and rolled piece, deformation between the rolls, rolling force and rolling lubrication conditions contribute to the roll.As the cold-rolled products in our country become more high-end in recent years, especially when we produce cold-rolled thin plates of high demands, the role of cold rolling lubricant is playing a more important role. Thus, it is of great significance to study the influence of roll gap friction on mechanical properties of roll and shape of roll gap. And the study will help to improve rolling speed and the quality of products.The results of previous researches in our country and abroad have been referenced in this thesis. First, the process of plate and strip rolling considering the lubrication friction of roll gap and discrimination method of friction state are introduced. Then the model of plate and strip rolling considering friction state of roll gap has been set up. Besides, the formula of some important parameters of roll in plate and strip rolling process both under dry friction condition and considering the state of lubrication friction have been given, such as rolling force, elastic deformation of work roll, elastic deformation of backup roll.According to the characteristics of plate and strip rolling process, appropriate approaches in ANSYS/LS-DYNA have been given. The three-dimensional model of four-roll plate and strip rolling mill considering friction state of roll gap were established in ANSYS/LS-DYNA to analyze the size and distribution of the rolling force between roll and plate, stress of work roll, bending deformation and elastic deformation of work roll, and size and distribution of the pressure between work roll and backup roll, stress of backup roll, bending deformation and elastic deformation of backup roll at different friction state of roll gap. Then the influence of different friction coefficient in the mixed friction conditions on rolling force, bending and elastic deformation of work roll has been studied.Comparing the results of the data of test with the results of simulation analysis, we can see the numerical simulation model of plate and strip rolling set in this thesis is credible, and the calculation is correct.
