| Superhydrophobic property, one of important features of the solid surface, has gained intense interest from researchers in surface science. However, the super-hydrophobic surface formed by existing methods has common defects of low hardness and poor stain-resistance ability. So, developing a method to prepare high-performance super-hydrophobic surface is of great significance. In this paper, the n-TiO2/Ni brush plating composite coating and n-SiO2/Ni brush plating composite coating are obtained on Q235steel matrix by using the nano-particle composite electro-brush plating technique, both of them have excellent super-hydrophobic.The method of how to obtain super-hydrophobic surface by using composite brush plating technique and the mechanism of how to form excellent performance on coating are studied in the paper. The environmental device is built to obtain super-hydrophobic surface by using composite brush plating technique; the preparation process is developed to obtain super-hydrophobic surface by using composite brush plating technique; the influences of plating voltage, plating time and velocity of brush on the coating surface microstructure and superhydrophobicity are analyzed. This paper explains why brush plating composite coating has super-hydrophobic property by analyzing the relationship between the composite coating surface and contact angle, studies the effects of the moving velocity of brush on the content of nano-particles in the composite coating, and examines stain-resistance ability, the binding force with matrix and self-cleaning property of the coating.The measurements of the contact angle, surface roughness, thickness and microhardness of the coating are carried out. Results show that the plating voltage, plating time and the moving velocity of brush are important parameters for the composite coating surface structure and surface contact characteristics. And the binary micro-nano structure on composite coating surface plays an important role in superhydrophobic property. The superhydrophobic surface, which is obtained by using composite brush plating technique, has many comprehensive properties, such as the excellent superhydrophobicity, high hardness, good stain-resistance ability, the strong binding force with matrix and well self-cleaning property, etc.The preferred process parameters are obtained through the study of the method for obtaining superhydrophobic surface by using composite brush plating technique and the properties of coating surface. n-TiO2/Ni brush plating composite coating:when at the plating voltage value of25V. the brush plating time of4minutes,the velocity of brush of8m/min. water contact angle reaches161.5°nd the microhardness reaches HV541.4. n-SiO2/Ni brush plating composite coating:when at the plating voltage value of22V, the brush plating time of2minutes, the velocity of brush of8m/min, water contact angle reaches172.9°and the microhardness reaches HV562.2. |
