Potassium persulfate and sodiumbisulfite were used as redox initiator in the aqueous enviroment. And then temperature, pH value, time of the polymerization reaction, the dosage of all kinds of additives and other factors were studied as the influence on the anion type polyacrylamide polymerization reaction.The structure of polymer was detected by FTIR, and viscosity average relative molecular mass(Mr.) was also determined through GB12005.1-89, GB12005.2-89. And then the zeta potential of polymer was determined by nanometer laser particle detector. Aggregate sample and control (Reagent Company of Hua Qiang, APAM, and Mr. for12million) were used to flocculate pulp sewage of plant, and contrast the removal efficiency between them.With the temperature at52centigrade, pH value between11.00and11.30,4hours polymerization reaction, the mole ratio of monomer AM to monomer AA2:1, the orthogonal experiment results showed, that the weight ratio of the total concentration of monomer (including monomer AM and monomer AA), chain transfer agent sodium formate, azo reagent urea, ethylenediamine tetraacetate, potassium persulfate and sodiumbisulfite(the mole ratio of potassium persulfate to sodiumbisulfite2:1) as redox initiator to75.0ml solvent water (total amount) respectively was0.0032mol/g,0.1000g,0.0025g,0.0020g,0.06%. Under the optimal conditions, Mr. of polymer can reach between1.03X106and1.30×106. And with the temperature at35centigrade, pH value between7.00and7.30,5.8hours polymerization reaction,the mole ratio of monomer AM to monomer AA1:1, the orthogonal experiment results also showed, that the weight ratio of the total concentration of monomer (including monomer AM and monomer AA), chain transfer agent sodium formate, azo reagent urea, ethylenediamine tetraacetate, potassium persulfate and sodiumbisulfite(the mole ratio of potassium persulfate to sodiumbisulfite2:1) as redox initiator to75.0ml solvent water(total amount) respectively was0.0028mol/g,0.3500g,0.0500g,0.0100g,0.08%. In the same way, under the optimal conditions, zeta potential of polymer can achieve-82.5mvPolymers with Mr.(between1.03×106and1.30×106) or zeta potential (-82.5mv) also showed better flocculation effect for pulp sewage in comparision with the control, and polymerization product removal efficiency reached99.87%.
