China’s total coal reserves forefront in the world, facing of the increasingly tense energy issues, how to promote the coal industry realizes mechanization, high production and efficiency, the sustainable development with intensive security is a beacon of development of coal industry. Nowadays, the greater mining height technology, which has the same meaning of full-time mining height technology, mining height between3.5-6.0m, using high-power double-drum shearer and heavy-duty scraper conveyor cut coal at the coal face, with a large tonnage hydraulic support to control the roof. It is an important technical means to achieve the sustainable development of the coal industry.The subject studies on the Sanyuan Wangzhuang Coal in Changzhi mining area where the greater mining height technology is undeveloped at all; Through experimental evaluation, theoretical analysis, site measurement and numerical simulation methods to do the research on the No.3coal seam overburden fractured rock strata mechanics parameters in Sanyuan Wangzhuang Coal, and also did further stratification on rock fissures fragmentation zone, use the thickness of strata in the stratified rock load formulas and "beam" theory formula to calculate the theoretical caving step, combining with the Sanyuan Wang Zhuang coal site to analyze the measured data and FLAC3D numerical simulation pressure characteristics, analyze the mining pressure features of the greater mining height coal face systematically, finally use the measured data, the analysis of overlying strata movement and failure law, the supporting strength determination and prevention measures of coal wall spalling to analyze the stope control technology. Among this, the rock stratification basis on TYGD10rock drilling peep instrument peep analysis, and also proposed the "borehole overlying rock crushing Classification Standard" firstly; the analysis of site data includes:pressure situation, working resistance support, original supporting strength, the safety valve opens, the plunger shrinkage mining tunnel support pressure; taking the defects of FLAC3D numerical simulation software into account to analyze data results, and use the Teplot software for data processing and analysis.This thesis is closely integrated through four research blocks, and get immediate roof initial pressure step, basic roof initial and circle pressure step, circle initial pressure step in the greater mining height coal face; The adaptability of the working face resistance and support force in the state of the low initial support force; the rib spalling degree, safety valve opens condition, the plunger shrinkage under the pressure; Identified advanced support pressure scope, significantly affect scope and intensity. Through the comprehensive and detailed analysis of Sanuan Wang Zhuang coal mine No.3coal seam of large mining height in first mining face strata pressure and the control technology and the accumulation of production experience. At present, Sanyuan’s No.3coal seam in Wang Zhuang coal mine full-time mining height coal mining working face with good overall replacement, and Sanyuan in Changzhi mining area is used to full-time mining height technology.
