Magnetic abrasive finishing technology is widely used in machinery manufacturing, aviation spacecraft, medical instruments and military industry, with its good processing advantage of flexibility, adaptive ability and self-sharpening. Magnetic abrasive is important grinding apparatus to achieve magnetic abrasive finishing. But at present it doesn’t have more application in domestic, just limited to only the experiment. There are relatively large gap not only it’s study in depth but also in breadth compare with overseas. It’s mainly because there is no perfect magnetic abrasive preparation process, the magnetic abrasive life and processing efficiency is not very well.This paper mainly makes use of hot pressing sintering preparing magnetic abrasive. The hot pressing sintering process parameters:pressure, temperature, holding time, magnetic abrasive particle size and weight ratio. Using finite element analysis software ANSYS to simulate different temperature rise rate in the hot pressing process, determined the best placement of the magnetic abrasive. On the weight of different ratio of temperature field analysis of magnetic abrasive find that there is a little difference in temperature of the hot processing sintering process. Making use of finite element software MSC.MARC to analysis the pressure and temperature coupling field of magnetic abrasive by Shima model. It can be seen that the relative density of magnetic abrasive reached0.8the maximum number in the temperature of1100℃and pressure of50MPa. Relative density as a whole showed a decreasing gradient form the top.This article through to the influence of hot pressing sintering process of preparing magnetic abrasive factors:heating rate, pressure, heat preservation time simulation analysis to find out the reasonable preparation of magnetic abrasive process parameters, the magnetic abrasive finishing technology of the actual production played a good role in promoting.
