| With the continuous development of the River Valley’s economy, most of the lakes in China are being troubled by eutrophication. Water blooms occur frequently in the past20years, especially in the Taihu Lake valley. Eutrophication of Taihu Lake has seriously restricted the sustainable development of economic and social in Taihu Lake. Governments invest a lot on the control of eutrophication of Taihu Lake, but the work is not so effective.Through the overview of the concept of lake eutrophication, we know the need of controlling the eutrophication of Taihu Lake. Based on learning how to control lake eutrophication abroad, the author makes an analysis of the situation of eutrophication in Taihu Lake.On the basis of the summary of characteristic in controlling the eutrophication of Taihu Lake, the author finds out the shortage and difficult. They are mainly about how to control agricultural nonpoint pollution, how the public and environmental NGO participate in environmental management, how to overcome the different management from different regions.In response to these difficulties in eutrophication control, the author proposes the following countermeasures.Establish and improve the system of environmental protection, strengthen the supervision of environmental protection, assure the fund for rural environment protection, encourage farmers to participate in environmental protection voluntarily, strengthen the research for environmental technology to control nonpoint pollution.Through the establishment of economic means such as emissions trading, sewage tax and ecological compensation, the government can control the pollution then to control the eutrophication of Taihu Lake.Continue to strengthen the control of point pollution on the basis of the control agricultural non-point pollution, raise the public awareness of environmental, establish and improve the legal system, establish the early warning system for eutrophication, enhance the intensity of environmental information disclosure, establish and improve the system of watershed-based management, promote clearer production. |
