Oil shale mining is a new field of energy development and utilization. In oil shaleearth surface acquisition system, the core component is the multiphase materialseparating equipment—the oil, gas and water three-phase separator., In this paper, the mentioned separator is just for the project of Jilin University oil shale explorationdevelopment and utilization of research cooperation and innovation project (Projectnumber: OSR-06-04), and the main work is to specialized develop its control system.First of all, based on the fully analysis and study of the control stand andcharacteristics existing three-phase separators at home and abroad, combined with thecharacteristics of the project, a three-phase separator temperature control, levelcontrol and separator gas pressure control sub-system control program is put forward.Secondly, under the control strategy, the various control modules were designedand the components selected. Such as gas pressure control valves, liquid emissioncontrol valves, proportional valves of the oil-water interface control and thehigh-speed switching valve for heating medium flow control.Thirdly, by modeling analysis and research, the mathematical model and controlparameters were determined. By comparing the PIcontrol、PD control and PID controlin Simulink environment,We can conclude that the PID control is ultimatecontrol program. And determine the best parameters according to the output curve. Finally, research on the three-phase separator control system hardware andsoftware. According to requirements, we preparate for the control flow chart of theseparation process. In order to achieve PID cintrol procedure in the microcontroller,we discretize the PID procedure. In the remote controling, the system has been joinedthe RS485bus and the PC control the interactive interface.
