Based on analysis on Landscape patterns of Nanjing urban ecosystem, we study the climate change characteristics and the carbon budget, and investigate the correlation coefficient between the climate change and the carbon budge of Nanjing urban ecosystem. The results showed that:(1) Trend and characteristics of climatic change of Nanjing urban ecosystem were the temperature rise, the uneven distribution of rainfall, the sunshine hours decrease and the annual average wind speed decrease.(2) The carbon collecting volume showed significant increase trend Nanjing urban ecosystem. The growth rate of the carbon collecting was6.5%on average from2001to2010and the annual average of the carbon collecting was227million tons of greenbelt subsystem of Nanjing. The carbon collecting of farmland subsystem was decreased with the crop planting area decreasing. The annual average of the carbon collecting was192.89million tons of farmland subsystem which the efficiency of carbon sequestration was increased.(3) The carbon emissions showed significant increase trend Nanjing urban ecosystem. The annual average of the carbon emission was4950.63million tons of the industrial subsystem of Nanjing urban ecosystem which the average of carbon emission intensity was1.16ton/million yuan.The characteristics were high correlation and the relative decoupling between the carbon emissions of the industrial subsystem and the total industrial output value. The carbon emissions showed significant increase trend Nanjing urban ecosystem. The annual average of the carbon emission was5.53million tons of the residents subsystem and276.7million tons of the suburban transportation subsystem of Nanjing urban ecosystem.(4) The result on carbon budgets was released carbo into the environment in Nanjing urban ecosystem. The average annual carbon emissions was48220000tons and the growth rate of the carbon emissions was15%on average.(5) In Nanjing urban ecosystem, There were only significant correlation between climate factors and the carbon budgets of subsystem, Such as the significant correlation between the carbon emissions of suburban transportation subsystem and the average wind speed, between The carbon collecting of greenbelt subsystem and the average wind speed and between The carbon collecting of farmland subsystem and the rainfall. There are no significant relation between rest of the climate factor and the carbon collecting or the carbon emissions of Nanjing urban ecosystem.(6) This paper studies the development of low-carbon economy Nanjing status, stage and evolution of features found. From2002to2010, there are negative decoupling two, growth-the expansion to connect two times times, strong decoupling one time and weak decoupling four times between carbon consumption and economic development. The development of low-carbon economy will be unsustainable in future.
