Gold nanoparticles has have great potential very extensive application in many aspects, value due to its own characteristics. It is more attractive in the especially in electronics and data storage after self-assembled into monolayer. At the same time, cyclodextrins have drown much attention for their host-gust interactions, which makes them excellent candidates in many areas, such as has a wide range of applications in the aspects of food and Environmental Protection because of the nature of its cavity. In this paper, we fabricated the Au NPs by using the modified cyclodextrin as stabilizer. Adamantal-terminated the chain compounds which has adamantine in it’s end were synthesized and characterized. These chain compounds were used to interact with CD-modified gold nanoparticles through host-gust interaction to form assembles, for link groups for self assembly of Au NPs. Research the details are as follows.1. We modified cyclodextrin with the elemental iodine and thiourea to obtain thiolated cyclodextrin. Then we fabricated the Au NPs by using the thiolated cyclodextrin as stabilizer because thiol and gold has strong coordination ability. The Au NPs were characterized by UV, TEM and TG A.2. Adamantane acid was converted into a more active compound-ADCOCl. Then through the reaction of ADCOCl and PEO (ethylene glycol, butanediol, pentaerythritol), we can synthesize the chain compounds with adamantal end groups. Whose end was adamantine. The products were characterized by FTIR and 1H NMR.3. Via host-gust recognition, the compounds with adamantal end groups interacted with CD-modified gold nanoparticles to form assembles..Because adamantane and cyclodextrin has strong coordination ability, these chain compounds whose end was adamantine were used as link groups for self assembly of Au NPs. The products were characterized by two dimensional 1H NMR spectra and TEM, indicating that the results also show that the self assembly is very successful. |
