Land Use And Eco-environmental Quality Evaluation In Yongding River Basin (Hehei-Beijing)

Yong Ding River is located in the southwest of Beijing, which is the largest river in the north system of the Hai River water system. The river flows through Yong Ding River valley which belongs to Beijing, and It flows through the Men Tougou District Shi Jin Mountain District Feng Tai District、 Fang Shan District and Da Xing District in order. Because of its’abundant social and historical culture, and the special geographical position, it is known as the "mother river" in Beijing. With the rapid development of the society and economy, the ecological and environmental quality of Yong Ding River valley has undergone great changes. This thesis makes good use of the remote sensing and GIS techniques (RS and GIS) in order to make land-use basic information extraction to the four phases’ remote sensing image, the phases are the year1978、1987、2000and2009. In the meantime, it takes advantage of the transfer matrix to analyze changes of the types of land-use in the31years; Through drawing out the basic information of TM images of the vegetation coverage in three phases, which are the year1987,2000and2009, we make preliminary analysis and know about the situation of the ecological and environment quality in the target area, meanwhile, we make data preparation for the evaluation; In order to make further evaluation and analysis to the ecological environment quality in the target area, the basic information of the land-use and the plant coverage degree which are extracted will be identified and their content will be determined by the composite index. The conclusions are following:1. From1978to2009, in the changes of the Yong Ding River valley’s land-use (Hebei-Beijing section), the area of constructional lands has risen considerably by occupying lots of cultivated lands. In the target area, the transfer of land-use’s types mainly shows that: the cultivated lands which have decreased mainly transfer to the construction lands and the unused lands; the construction lands which have increased mainly transfer from the cultivated lands and grasslands. At the same time, other types of lands have undergone different changes.2. The situation of vegetation coverage plays an important role in indicating the ecological environment quality. However, the situation of vegetation coverage in2000is the worst than other years.3. If we have the result of the evaluation in the target area refer to the evaluation rating which are formulated by our country, we will find that the environmental quality of2000stays in the normal level, and there are some unharmonious factors existing between the ecological environment and our human beings. However, although the1987and2009are still in the "good" level, the level of the environmental quality in2009is still higher than the year1987; and it is developing to a good tendency.
