To make effective recycling of solids in the de-inking residue, this paper explored the value of the de-inking residue, improving the conditions of the flotation column flotation process, maximizing the recovery of the fibers and fillers in the deinking residue. The study found that the best column flotation process conditions was1%concentrated slurry feeding, feed-under flow rate was960-960mL/min, the solids yield optimal;1150-770mL/min, solids brightness best;960-865mL/min, the best of ERIC; air rate of10.0L/min, the air pressure of15psig, washing rate of50mL/min to100mL/min. With the obtained solids of0%,5%,8%,11%,14%, adding into kraft pulp, the paper of the results showed that yield of the best group added with the amount of5%did not cause the tear index decreased significantly, addition of8%did not cause brightness, compact, folding endurance, tensile index decreased significantly, addition of11%did not cause burst index decreased significantly, and addition of14%did not reduce, but to improve the opacity, light scattering coefficient. The recovery rate of the best groups of solids was up to58%, in which the fiber content of26%, using flotation column can recover15%of the fiber from the deinking residue.
