The emission of organic wastewater brings very severe environmental pollution, also tothe health of human beings of great threat. Because it contains poisonous, harmful,hard-degradation of organic pollutants, traditional water treatment technology is not able toremove it completely from water environmental system. For the past few years, Our countryin the resin with organic wastewater treatment has great progress, selective adsorption andeasily regenerative resin was synthesized and used in environmental protection field. Peoplehave paied more and more attention to advanced oxidation technology as a selectivedegradation of organic wastewater. This paper mainly takes phthalic acid ester and thebiochemical method processed saliferous organic wastewater as examples, adopted resin andphotochemical oxidation to remove refractory organic pollutions in water.In the first part, removal of PAEs by using ion exchange resin. Influence of differentfactors including the type and dosage of resin, initial concentration of the solution, reactiontemperature, numbers of resin’s uses, and the recycling of resin on the removal efficiency ofPAEs were considered, different esters of dynamic equations and the removal of mechanismswere discussed under the optimized conditions. Netural condition, strongly basic anionexchange resin could remove PAEs quickly, and make the PAEs residue under the nationalstandards, The adsorption of reaction conformed a kinetic equation, the resin was easy toregenerate, but the regeneration liquid exists the problem of environment pollution.In the second part, treatment of saliferous organic wastewater by resin absorption.Research found that three resins of 001×7, D301R and 201×4 in series could make effluentreach tianjin area sewage discharge level standard, and the resin was easy to regenerate, butthe regeneration liquid exists the problem of environment pollution.In the third part, photochemical oxidative degradation of PAEs by using Na2S2O8andH2O2as double oxidants. The amount of the mixed oxidants, ultraviolet intensity, solution pHand the initial concentration of PAEs were considered. Reaction kinetic and reactionmechanism were also studied. The degradation rates of PAEs were more than 98% at roomtemperature. Degradation of reaction conformed a kinetic equation, which were superior touse single oxidant. Using the same method to test the degradation of saliferous organicWastewater. The method was time saving, no secondary pollution, and organic pollutants canbe completely mineralized. it will be used as saliferous organic Wastewater treatmentdevelopment direction in the future.
