In this paper, a disposable protective materials for clinical surgery are developed in accordance with the principle of "Vigo" protection material design. The outer layer of this fabric is porous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes, the middle layer of this fabric is the non-woven fabric netted with mixed fibers of super-absorbent fibers and pp fibers; the spunlaced nonwovens equipped with the properties of good strength is selected as the inner layer. The products tries to open up a new way to research and development on clinical protective clothing.First of all, the basic properties of super-absorbent fibers are studied to prepare for non-woven fabrics. The experimental results show that this fiber with low breaking strength and small elongation at break possesses fast water-absorbent velocity, and there is100times of its own weight to be saturated absorption rate. The fibers absorb keep70%in1kg load conditions, these are extremely apply to clinical wear conditions.Then, each layer of the clinical medical protective materials fabrics is decided according to the demands of the national medical protection and surgical clinical medical operation protection material design purpose.Thirdly,through the hydrostatic pressure and air permeability test,moisture permeability test,,porous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes is optimized as the outer layer; by comparison with " thermal bonding " method, the "water adhesion" method is obtained for slightly high absorption rate to make the middle non-woven fabric with web ration of35g/m2netted with10%super-absorption fibers; the inner spunlaced layer is select according to the breaking strength, comfort and market cost.In the end, the protective materials for clinical surgery are made to lap over each other in a manner of the thermal bonding methods and special adhesion. Tested through stripping experiment, hydrostatic pressure,comfort test, the laminated fabric can offer higher waterproof performance and higher peel strength, especially more comfortable performance. So that the material possesses excellent properties with liquid blocking under high pressure,shielding penetrate of virus and good absorption. So protective materials for clinical surgery can fully guarantee the life safety of physician in clinical environment..
