The dye-containing wastewater is one of unmanageableindustry waste water. Its component is very complex and it willcause severe damage to environment. Therefore it is an importantopic in industry of environment protection to empolder moreeffective and more economical technology of treat thedye-containing wastewater. Adsorption has been proved efficiencyin the removal of dyes. But the common adsorbents have somelimitations and the capacities are not good. Research of newpattern of sorbent is becoming the hotspot in the fiefd ofenvironment due to the deepening of industry. Using the propersorbent can bring both economic and environmental interests.In this paper,blast-furnace slag and chitosan were sellected asraw materials,the quantity of blast furnace slag and chitosan,pH,the quantity of composite in the simulation of coloring wastewater,the initial dye concentration andreaction time were slsoreviewed to the influence of disposal.Through to the acid, the alkali,the temperature modified processing blast-furnace slag,thenthe complex adsorbents was used for the removal of acid red B, acidicanthraquinone blue, active red K-2BP, active red 195 from aqueoussolutions.The results showed, in 300℃and 800℃, hydrochloric acidconcentration of 2.5 mol/L, the step of four dye adsorption on themodification of complex adsorption are improved that compared tothe blast -furnace slags complex ability. In alkali activation, the basicmodification of all kinds of complex the blast -furnace slags removalefficiency of dye wastewater with high compared to the blast -furnaceslags complex virtually unchanged.The compound adsorption which was modified on 800℃, thestep of four dyes adsorption was governed by liquid film diffusion andparticles spread within. hydrochloric acid concentration of 2.5 mol/Lmodified compound adsorption, the step of four dyes adsorption wasgoverned by liquid film diffusion.The experimental date were fitted bythree kinetic models , and the adsorption Process followedPseudo-second-order kinetic models. The adsorption data correlatedwell with Langmuir equation.
