Research And Preparation Of Self-cleaning Coil Coating

The product applications as well as production, market, benefits, types and characteristics of coil coatings were discussed in detail. The equipments for color-coated steel sheet, processing requirements and the type of coil coatings were briefly introduced. The new developments of coil coating characteristics were reviewed.The self-cleaning mechanism of this coating was studied. By increasing the hydrophilic of the coating, excellent stain resistance can be gained and self-cleaning function was reinforced. Main polyester resin and silicone hydrophilic additives were selected and a certain self-cleaning function of self-cleaning coil coating was so prepared. By contrasting with the ordinary product test, a validation outdoor self-cleaning effect was optimized. By selecting polyester resins, amino resins, solvents and other components in the formula, the outdoor building self-cleaning coil coatings were developed to meet the outdoor requirements.By the characteristic of the properties of epoxy primer and polyurethane primer, the performance of the self-cleaning coating was conducted. By optimizing the key polyester resin, blocked isocyanate and curing catalyst, primer formulations were obtained and the processing performance was improved.
