At present, ZK60 magnesium alloy is one of the most common materials in commercialdeformed magnesium alloy, there is certain reference significance for understanding theproperties of materials and making forming process to study warm forming deformationbehavior and mechanical properties of the ZK60 magnesium alloy. This paper test the microstructures and mechanical properties of ZK60 magnesium alloyunder different deformation conditions, and different heat treatment conditions through usingthe method as the mechanical properties detection, metallographic observation and tensilefracture scanning. At last presented the experiment conclusion:1.In the isothermal compression experiment, when equivalent strain is 1.59- 2.07, theorganizations obtain fine equiaxed grain and the second phase increase, that lead to the greatimprovement of strength and elongation rate of alloy, with the further increase of equivalentstrain, deformation of organizations of samples is inadequate, that cause deformation of grainis uneven, the grain is quite thick, and the second phase don’t change significantly, that lead tothat strength and elongation of alloy has a great decline. Under the conditions that thedeformation temperature is 300℃-340℃and the equivalent strain is 1.59-2.07, Mechanicalproperties of deformation sample is higher on the whole.2.After the deformation experiment of the different equivalent strain and differenttemperature, the sample has properties change law after T5 and T6:Overall, affect to samplefrom aging state after compressing is that the tensile strength and elongation increase first andthen decrease with the increasing of equivalent strain, and the tensile strength decreases withincreasing of the deformed temperature. After deformation in the condition that temperature is 260℃andequivalent strain is 2.07, T5 treatment, the highest tensile strength of sample reach355MPa; Elongation reach the highest when deformed sample is compressed in 260℃andequivalent strain is 2.07, it is up to 38.9%.3.After aging to the sample that is compressed in condition of 260℃,there isstrengthening phase particle precipitate,so tensile strength of T5 state is better than extrudedstate’s. After solid solution and aging treatment, although there are strengthening phaseparticles , but solid solution lead to grain size increase, so deformation state’s tensile strengthis better than T6’s. In the condition of 300℃-340℃,tensile strength under T5 state is betterthan deformed state’s,deformation state’s is better than T6’s. In the 380℃-420℃zone, on thewhole, tensile strength of T5 state is better than T6 state’s and T6 state’s is a little higher thanthat of deformation state’s. But the elongation of sample after heat treatment decreases.
