| With the development of digital radiography imaging detection technology,which is bound to became a major industrial area for NDT. The same of theinformation acquisition for digital radiography and radiographic, but they are used thedifferent of imaging detection and information processing. How to fix the imagequality evaluation for digital radiography with the existing method, which is becameto solve the problem. This difficult problem yet to be adequately resolved the usingextensive use digital radiography.This subject from the public service sectors of the State Administration ofQuality research and special projectsâ€Ray digital inspection technology research anddefect repository constructionâ€. This article revolves around image quality evaluation,then compare with the digital and film. The main content as follows:(1) According to the principle of radiographic, theoretic derivation of the mainfactors is including contrast, un-sharpness and noise for digital. image contrast ischaracterized contrast, and image resolution is characterized un-sharpness. Mainfactors affecting image contrast is including X-ray energy, unnecessary-ray and imagegeometry condition, which is including X-ray focus, magnification and focus. Mainfactors affecting image resolution is including effective pixels of the digital detector,X-ray focus and magnification.(2) Combination of theoretical and verify experiment. The various factors affectdigital quality in digital radiography. Then draw a comparison for digital image andfilm. Basically the same experiment conclusion and theoretical analysis.
