High-speed five-axis machining center is high technology content and highprecision CNC machining equipment, widely used in machining parts with complexsurfaces. High-speed processing technology requires machine tools have sufficientstiffness, good dynamic characteristics, high machining accuracy. With the machiningcenter developing toward the direction of high cutting speed and high processingaccuracy, the requirement of its working performance is higher and higher. XKR50five-axis machining center is research, the static and dynamic analysis of machine toolare researched with general finite analysis software ANSYS, presented a new efficienterror compensation method for five-axis NC machine tool.According to the different structural layout characteristics of CNC machine tools, select the suitable structure of the high-speed five-axis machine center for processingsmall size precision parts. Finite model of the main moving parts spindle box, skateboard, beam and the whole machine tool structure are established, based on thesemodel, static analysis are made, get the stress and deformation of machine structure toanalysis the strength and stiffness. Make modal analysis of the spindle and whole bodywith FEM and get their inherent frequencies and mode shapes. And evaluate themechanical properties of the machine tool structure based on static analysis and modalanalysis, provides theoretical basis for design and improvement of high-speed five-axismachine center. There are two methods to improve machining precision, error prevention and errorcompensation. Structure characteristics and main error sources, error categorize analysisof five-axis NC machine tool are made in this paper. Introduce the working principle oflaser tracker; finally, proposed a new error compensation method for five-axis machinetool.
