The hazards of the gas to mine safety normally display of three forms: burst、explosionand asphyxia. Among them gas explosion and gas burst are the most seriously, which do greatharmful to mining workers and mine facility. Gas emission quantity is an important factoraffected mine safety. In the coal mining, the gas emission from stope face account for50%~80%of the whole gas emission. It is the chief headstream of the gas emission in coalmine. The gas emission of the working face changes a lot. Because of the variation of the coalmine pressure, the gas-bearing capacity, the difference of the roof control and productiontechnology. So it is significant to work safety of coal mine in China by means improving thepredicted method of stope face gas emission, researching influencing factor of the gasemission and discovery gas emission regular of the stope face. The paper systematically discusses the gas reservoir state, the coal absorption to the gasand the theory of the gas emission in working face. There are many factors that affect the gasemission of working face. The main influencing factor was analyzed by using grey correlationtheory, which was atmosphere pressure in Dashuitou coal. The theory of gas emission inworking face was summarized by analyzing the data that measured in the coal include theatmosphere pressure and temperature and so on. Take the data measured and calculated astrain samples to set a BP model tested and proved, which worked well in the practicalapplication. And the paper imitated air leakage distribution of the goaf, set a model andcalculated the air quantity and air pressure and finally analyzed the relation betweenatmosphere pressure and gas emission in goaf.
