Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) is a typical persistent organic pollutants(POPs) which exist in different order of magnitude and not difficult to transform anddegrade in the environment. Part of the PAHs are carcinogenic, teratogenic and mutate.Humic acids are kind of natural macromolecular organic complex structures which existin rivers, lakes and surface sediment and contain the major components of the organicmatter. Humic acids have large specific surface area, high activity and high absorptionability, so they can have complex biological chemical or physical chemistry processwith trace poisonous and harmful organic pollutants in the environment and thereforehave significant influence on transformation, migration and degradationprocess.Chongqing is located in the west central position, which is the most importantport of the Yangtze river and economic center. With the increasing of a large number ofindustrial enterprises and the development of the emerging industry chain anddispatching operation of the three gorges reservoir, water environment quality ofcomplexity and pollution potential become more than before. This paper mainly studiedseveral typical section surface sediment samples in the Yangtze river and the jialingriver in chongqing, and humic acids were extracted from the surface sediment. Based onthe characteristics of humic acids in surface sediment analysis, this paper discussed theadsorption and the influence of humic acids in the surface sediment to typicalPAHs-fluoranthene adsorption processes.The mainly contents of this thesis are as follows:1) PAHs level of surface sediments and their adsorption to typical PAHs-fluoranthene. Based on the research of PAHs source in surface sediment in the tworivers of Chongqing, gc-ms combination (GC-MS) was used to detecte16EPA priorityPAHs concentration level in sediment samples and PAHs value in the surface sedimentswere analysed.2) The extraction of surface sediment sampling and the characteristics of humicacid in two rivers. The typical surface sediments were chosen as the research objectfrom the two rivers in Chongqing, and after pretreatment of the surface sediments, usingdilute alkali distillation with improvement to extract humic acids from sediments.Element analyzer, pH instrument and Fourier transform infrared spectra were used toanalyze the characteristics of the structure and functional characterization of the humic acids and different sample points of humic acid groups structure were analyzed.3) Study of adsorption characteristics and influence of humic acids in surfacesediment to the typical PAHs. Take humic acids of surface sediment samples as theresearch objects, using fluorescence spectrophotometry, the adsorption effects of humicacids to typical PAHs were analyzed, and the typical PAHs adsorption of humic acidswas come out. At the same time, this paper discusses the adsorption effect factors ofhumic acids to fluoranthene. Under the condition of different pH, temperature and ionicstrength, the analysis of different conditions for typical PAHs adsorption of humic acidswere tested to get effect and process characteristics.As important part of organic matter in sediments, humic acids were significant tothe incidence of PAHs and organic pollutants. In some developed countries,they havewidely studied the humic acids to PAHs adsorption characteristics, but in China relatedresearch reports are still focus in the adsorption rules of PAHs, and there are less studiesin the two rivers of Chongqing urban area. Based on natural science funds andChongqing science and technology project, the research take the humic acids in surfacesediment of the two rivers in Chongqing area as objects,and concluded the adsorptioneffect of humic acids to PAHs. The adsorption influence factors of humic acids tofluoranthene were also studied, and the result can be a scientific support of themigration, degradation and transformation of water-sediments system and provide thescientific data of PAHs in water-sediments system. At the same time, the Jialing Riverand the Yangtze River in Chongqing were in upstream of the Yangtze River, which isthe main water source of Chongqing industrial water and domestic water. Furthermore,considering the safety of the three gorges reservoir area of water environment protection,this paper is of practical significance. |
