At the present stage, we focus on the path of sustainable development, healthy andorderly economic development and society and the protection of the environment. Thedamage to the environment of our country at this stage has affected the pace of socialdevelopment, caused by the damage to the environment in mineral exploitation accounted fora large proportion of most environmental damages, especially surface subsidence. Therefore,in order to take the road of sustainable development we must pay attention to the destructionthat brought by mining subsidence. To reduce mining subsidence damage to theenvironmentwe must be able to correctlypredict the impact of environmental prior to mining and analysisof the caused by movement and settlement; According to the obtained information and data,we should be closely monitored the surface mining in the mining process and properly adjustof themining planto reducesurface mining damage.This paper using Visual Basic language combined with AutoCAD developed miningsubsidence information system, the system connected to the Access database realized thesubsidence observation data input, edit and storage, can achieve automatic calculation of therequired data are as follows, subsidence,titl, curvature, and curve drawing;mining subsidenceprediction based on probability integral method can expect out the untapped subsidence thatbe causedby mining subsidence, and draw contour mapin AutoCAD. It can help minestaff toprocess data,provide a powerful methodof calculation andanalysistools to solve the problemcasuedby miningsubsidence.
