Manufacturing faces the situation users need individuation,the globalization ofmarkets and the products’ high turnover,rapid prototyping technology emerges asthe times require,which advanced manufacturing technology(AMT),materialstechnology,laser technology,mechanical engineering,microcomputer controltechnology sets a. Selective Laser Sintering is a process in RP’s more then30kindsof,it don’t need special fixture and unlimited dripmolding shape’s complex degree,itwidely used in research institutions and markets.Nylon6is commonly used sinter material in Selective Laser Sintering,it’smechanical properties better then others.Even so,under the influence of SelectiveLaser Sintering characteristics,Nylon6’s forming precision and mechanicalproperties can’t reach engineering requirement.This paper aim at use wollastonitefilling modification Nylon6,let the forming precision raise to a higher level,in thispremise,consider the mechanical properties,use glassbeads enhance Nylon6’smechanical properties to the ideal level.Nylon6as a crystalline polymer, selective laser sintering process in theexistence of three types of contraction(contraction caused by temperature andsintering contraction and crystallization contraction) can be reduced by the additionof wollastonite powder of nylon6, the porosity, thereby reducing the parts due toreduced porosity due to sintering contraction, and parts of wollastonite powdermixture can reduce the degree of crystallinity, thereby reducing the crystallizationcontraction.The results show that filling wollastonite improve effectively Nylon6’sforming precision,as the adding amount of wollastonite increased,the amount ofshrinkage of workpiece that Nylon6mixed wollastonite decrease,the knee point is30%,the workpiece’s contraction percentage in X and Y direction are1.069%and0.997%,the ideal value,because the corresponding value of Nylon6are5.714%and 4.875%.By means of SEM and XRD analysis,in the case deformation temperatureconsistent,the sintering contraction reduced as the adding amount of wollastoniteincreased,while the crystallinity reduced,so that crystallization contractionreduced,but the wollastonite can’t scattered evenly while the adding amount toolarge,and influenced the forming precision.By the analysis of tensile experiments,in case the workpiece’s formingprecision is good(the adding amount of wollastonite is30%),the strengthweaken,the breaking elongation decreased,in this paper,enhance the mechanicalproperties by glassbeads,study found the forming precision and mechanicalproperties are well when mixing ratio of Nylon6, wollastonite and glassbeads is62:30:8.
