Air cooler is widely used in the cooling equipment about light-hydrocarbon refining device in oil,chemical,energy and other dustries.But many air coolers are existing defects in structural design and demanding the use of the environment.This study was reaserched in serious corrosion and scaling problems in the wet-air cooler of light-hydrocarbon refining device in Turpan-Hami Oilfield, it calculated the heat capacity of the equipment and found out the root causes of problems was air cooler heat load distribution ratio of inappropriate. This study also obtained air cooler to combine wet and dry cooling structural as optimization program and the least heat margin.At the same time,it combined before and after optimization of temperature and flow field analysis,the research provided a basis for rational selection and structural optimization in similar environments about the light-hydrocarbon air coolers,it had a great engineering value.The subject has completed the following work:According to air cooler heat transfer principles, mathematical model has been establelelished about dry air cooler, wet air cooler,and wet and dry air cooler.Four analysis and designr program of air coolers with MATLAB software have been designed:dry air cooler heat calculation program,wet and dry air cooler design program,and dry air cooler design program.Throuh checked and analysed wet-air cooler in Turpan-Hami Oilfield by wet and dry air cooler heat calculation program,found the reason of corrosion about wet air cooler. According to air cooler design theory and design, the subject has completed dry air cooler, wet air cooler and wet and dry air cooler design. Four programs have been designed for wet air cooler in Turpan-Hami Oilfield, through assessed these programs,obtained air cooler to combine wet and dry cooling structural as optimization program for wet air cooler.Used the finite element analysis software ANSYS, calculated heat stress on the fin tube body,and gave a reliable way to improve heat transfer efficiency.Through finite element analysed the whole pipeline temperature of wet and dry air cooler in the four identified design programs, get the temperature distribution picture,provided a theoretical support for the air cooler optimal design.Used flow field analysis software FLUENT,completed the numerical calculation within the flow field of air cooler on the old and new programs, determined the distribution of internal velocity field,and it is important guiding significance for the air cooler optimal design.
