The macro-organisms which is named“Wenghui biota”including many species of macroalgae fossils, annelid fossils and poriferan fossils were widely discovered in the Doushantuo-period stratum section of the Ediacaran which has a well appearance in the Jiangkou area, Tongren city of Northeastern Guizhou. To the three kinds of macro-organisms fossils above-mentioned, the researchers have made certain the genus and species’ system and the evolutional stage by the study of modality judgement, the macroalgae of the Wenghui biota clearly appear organic and functional differentiations, some macroalgae exhibit a relationship with high plants. This study to the macro-organisms of the Wenghui biota based on the research of biomarkers, using the modern biological knowledge about the eukaryotic cell and the biomacromolecule, establishing the contact between the biomarkers molecules in the geologicbody and the organic molecules in the modern life, in order to making certain the difference and sameness of their biomarkers data、the reasons of the difference and sameness、the origin of the biomarkers and the biomarkers characters of the each kind macro-organisms.The conclusion of this study is that:⑴the macroalgae tested appeared the cell and tissue differentiation, and some high plants characters;⑵the trace fossils which were believed macroalgae were proved to be the annelid fossils actually:⑶the environment where the macro-organisms lived in was a shallow sea with low salinity ,the oxygen content was to a certain degree;⑷the mechanism of production of the 2,3-monomethylalkane was made certain------transformed from the n-alkane;⑸the source of the sterane in the geologicbody was clarified: the annelid, the poriferan and the algae have nearly the same contribution to the sterane content;⑹generalized the biomarkers characters and the indicative biomarkers characters combinations’ of each kind of the macro-organisms above-mentioned. All of the conclusions will lay the elementary foundation for the research and the application of biomarkers in paleontology.
