To solve the realistic problems caused during the middle or late stage of Daqing Chaoyanggou Oil Field. This article did a systematic study on on the Fuyu reservoir in Chaoyanggou Oil Field by using the principles and methods of high resolution sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology, petroleum geology and well-log geology. The main results are as bellows:1. Using the regional standards, 2 long-term base-level cycles are distinguished. According to the analysis of core and well-log data, there are 41 short-term base-level cycles are identified. Comprehensive ananlysis of the structure and stacking patterns of short-term base-level cycles, 7 mid-term base-level cycles are decided. The long-term, short-term and mid-term cycles’detail characteristics are described, and then the framework of high resolution sequence stratigraphy is established.2. Depositional environment such as the littoral and shallow lake, delta front, delta plain subfacies and the meandering river, braided river are identified. And 13 kinds of sedimentary microfacies mode had been established. 41 sedimentary units (the stratigraphic units correlated to short-term base-level cycles) were recognized based on analyzing microfacies and the characteristics of wells and plane phases.3. All levels of base-level cycles and the evolution of sedimentary facies are basically the same, fully embodies the facies differentiation principle.
