The Lunar is Earth’s nearest planetary, The first station of the human deep spaceexploration. The use of advanced instruments for lunar terrain data will greatlyimprove the level of knowledge of the human on the moon. As one of the main tasksof the lunar exploration, to obtain high accuracy on the surface of the lunar and terrainelevation data information for the moon exploration project is extremely important.This paper on the basis of the digital lunar platform, for the CE-2image Mosaicof research area, using the correlation coefficient and SIFT algorithm for imagematching, and through the rational function model to stereo image positioning, finallyy extract high precision DEM images on the surface of the lunar. On this basis, the useof DTA technology carries on the preliminary analysis and research on terrain, for thelunar terrain DEM extraction and analysis provides a way.Based on the research of the related content, this paper puts forward two researchInnovative points:1. A comprehensive correlation coefficient and STFT algorithm is proposed forCE-2image matching process and extraction methods of DEM.2. Put forward a kind of based on DTA technology of the moon’s surfacetopography factor extraction technology and spatial analysis technology.On the basis of the two Innovative points, this paper obtained three researchresults:1. We finished the CE-2parts of the image data geometric Mosaic work, inorder to establish the digital platform provides data support to the moon.2. On the lunar digital platform we have extracted the region of high resolutionDEM data, provides the reference and method for using three linear CCD data toextract DEM data.3. On the lunar surface we extracted characteristic factors and the spatial analysiswas carried out, the peak point, the trend of the slope, curvature, plane and the terrain ups and downs was extracted, researching on the surface of the moon’s visibility.
