Erdos basin is located in the east of northwest China, surrounded by the YellowRiver to the west, the north and the east. It has a vast territory and Erdos basin is richin mineral resources. In recent years, it has caused a series of regional geologicalproblems as the growing of unreasonable development and utilization of groundwaterin many regions of the basin, the shortage of water resources and the degradation ofecological environment has become the main limiting factors of the local economicand social development, the improvement of people’s life and improvement of theecological environment. Located in the northwest of the basin, Dusitu system belongsto the Dusitu-Yanchi groundwater system, because Dusitu River is the final dischargearea of regional groundwater system, relatively speaking, there is abundant supply ofgroundwater resources. A good understanding of the relationship between surfacewater and groundwater water is of great significance for the development andutilization of water reasources. Based on the investigation of groundwaterrecharge-runoff-discharge conditions, study on the law of groundwater circulation isof great significance for the reasonable exploition of water reasources of the area andcope with the deterioration of the ecological environment. In this paper, based on full collection of geology, hydrogeology data and fieldinvestigation in the study area, the method of numerical modeling is used to analyzethe three-dimensional flow of groundwater in Dusitu River Baison. In the paper, thesensitivity of base flow for precipitation infiltration coefficient and coefficient ofpermeability have been analyzed, and determine the optimal parameters. Based on thesimulation results, the base flow of different parts of the river is calculated, and foundthat the main stream and the south tributary are thinking of the main contribution tothe river’s base flow. In the verticaldirection, in effect of the surface watershed andthe topography of the basion, groundwater discharge from watershed to Dusitu River. In Dusitu River basin, the three-dimensional structure of groundwater is obvious, themost strong evaporation area appears at the low-lying land.
