| Portable X-ray fluorescence analyzer has been widely used and achievedfavorable results in mineral exploration and mine production and more fieldsbecause of its portability, efficiency and it can be easily used in the field. This papertakes shallow coverage at Inner Mongolia as an example, carrying out validity testand relevant technical solutions research about X fluorescence analysis on fluoriteore exploration and it could be extended on this basis. Main achievements made inthe paper are as follows:1.Portable X-ray fluorescence analyzer applies to validity test and relevanttechnical solutions research at Shallow cover fluorite mining area, Inner Mongolia,shows that it would be better to take soil as the analysis object and Eluvial layer asthe sampling objectives. General sampling depths is10-30cm, but it reaches to40cm at some areas. The sample fraction is confirmed to-20mesh.2.X-ray fluorescence analyzer has got8chemical elements when it is used atthe mining area,including Ca,K,Ti,Mo,Ag,Co,Fe,Zr. By comparing the chemicalelements and ore belt, we found out that high Ca element anomaly zone coincidedwith ore bodies. This paper raises up that high Ca element anomaly of X-rayfluorescence analysis is used as an indication to identify the ore target.3.Due to multiplicity of high Ca element anomaly, Therefore, thecombination of geophysical VLF partial extraction soil geochemical analysisComprehensive Study,We propose:○1combination method of VLF,PortableX-ray fluorescence analyzer and Partial extraction of soil chemical analysis iseffective for shallow cover fluorite exploration at inner Mongolia,○2throughcombining high Ca element anomaly and F element from extraction of soil chemicalanalysis, ore target can be easily identified.4.Summing up the application of VLF,Portable X-ray fluorescence analyzer and Partial extraction of soil chemical analysis through shallow cover fluoriteexploration at inner Mongolia, specific exploration model is made as follows: firstly,using VLF to explore basic geological mining distribution and combining with thegeological data and the project to predict geological features. Then using PortableX-ray fluorescence analyzer to test the certain areas in order to identify high Caelement anomaly areas, assist soil chemical analysis and find out F element to cyclethe ore target.5.After analyzing the data about Ca element and F element through the wholearea, it can be assured that line3and line5at northeast Madaigou has an ore targetwhich is abundant with Ca element and F element.6.Through comparison analysis between Madaigou and Xiaosijia which havethe same geological features, it turns out that Ca element and F element is relativelyhigh at Xiaosijia which means a better potential exploration. |
