Along with the progress of the times and technology, more and more people pay attention to Mobile Internet. Digital map service is the core foundation of Mobile Internet which is contested by many big internet companies. Traditional outdoor map service cannot satisfy our need of navigation when we are inside the buildings. As a necessary supplement for outdoor map, indoor map service provides us the public place’s floor plan and people’s position information in more detail. Behind indoor map, plentiful information around users and LBS (Location Based Services) are the points of penetration in mining of Mobile Internet’s business value. Indoor map information service which is developed by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Palmap Company, focuses on indoor map service of large buildings.With the accumulation of basic data and maturity of operation mode, it is necessary to build an openning platform for indoor map service. OpenAPI is the specific mean of openning platform, through which more and more developers can participate in the application development about indoor map.Based on the background describing above, we designed and implemented the OpenAPI for indoor map service in this thesis. We realize a agile authorization mechanism through multi-echelon authority management. By using RESTful interface, we simplified system extension and optimize the resource management. In the implementation, we supported both JSON and XML data format, so as to solve cross domain problem perfectly according to the different situation. In concrete interface design, we built reasonable API to meet the needs of developers. In resource matching, we adopted Chinese word segmentation preprocessing and intelligent query to get high similar data. In the system deployment, we used the reverse agent technology to realize load balance to meet the demand of high concurrent access.Now the OpenAPI is on line, and the third party applications are recognized by the market. Many large Internet enterprises are participating in the cooperation and the company shall receive more traffic in indoor map services.
