| Most limestone deposits in eastern Inner Mongolia and surrounding areas arerecrystallization deposits. With magmatic activity and vein rocks development,natural ore type of these limestone deposits is crystalline limestone rocks or marble.Qinglongshan limestone deposit is located in Qinglongshan area, Naimanqi ofTongliao City, Inner Mongolia, where tectonic position lies to the north of easternsection of central Inner Mongolia geosynclinal fold system (â… )Wenduermiao-Wengniute caledonian geosynclinals fold belt (â…¡) AoHanQisynclinorium (â…¢), which is a typical recrystallization deposit. Attached togovernment project of Inner Mongolia: General investigation to Qinglongshanlimestone deposit, Naimanqi of Inner Mongolia, we completed the paper based onexploration achievements acquired from exploration survey of the deposit.In this paper, we describe the geologic feature of this deposit, and indicate itsgenetic type is neritic facies recrystallization deposit. Upper Carboniferous Shizuiziformation is a clastic rocks strata containing recrystallization limestone which is theore. Ore grade of the recrystallization limestone is good. According to the position ofore body space distribution, the whole ore district could be divided into three orebodies which average ore grade of CaO is between50.24and52.30%, MgO’sbetween0.80%and1.85%. Diorite vein rocks developed in ore bodies are confirmedthat they destroyed the ore bodies’ shape, but there was no significant effect to thequality of ore bodies by engineering documantation and chemical analysis.According to the geologic feature of this deposit and “Specifications formetallurgic, chemical limestone and dolomite, cement-materials mineralexplorationâ€(DZ/T0213-2002), the deposit is identified as the exploration type â…¡.According to different control engineering intervals of the exploration type â…¡,we control the ore body with prospecting trench in surface and drilling engineering indeep to explore each type of resources/reserves.We use vertical section method for reserve estimation. A large number ofirregular diorite vein rocks cause obstacles to accurately estimate theresources/reserves. Because the vein rocks’ volume can not be estimated byconventional method, we propose to estimate the vein rocks’ volume with ganguerate by counting the thickness of vein rocks in single engineering.Even though the recrystallization deposit is difficult to exploit, but due to theuneven distribution of resources and resources crisis, its potential utilization value isstill high. The exploration work and the vein rocks’ volume estimation method forQinglongshan limestone deposit described in this paper has a certain reference valuefor similar ore deposits. |
