The new Yu-Qian Railway is north-south railway’s backbone channel in our country regional rail network. The Northern Railway pass through the edge of Sichuan Basin, the eastern margin of the East Sichuan fold belt and the north margin of the north Guizhou fold belt. Because the complex geological conditions and geological disaster widely development. For the lack of understanding of geological disasters along the railway line,We analyze the collected data and Conducted field geological investigation. On this basis, this paper summarizes the distributional types, development law, and influence factors of geological disasters along the railway. Establish the relevant assessment system, Use of the secondary fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate risk assessment of the geological disasters along the railway. Draw the following conclusions:The main geological hazards along the railway are Collapse and rock fall, Tunnel gas, Karst collapse. Development scale, mainly is small, the large is very rare. By analyzing the factors which influence the development of geological disasters in the study area, combined with the actual situation and operation, We selected9factors of the structure of rock and soil type, the relative elevation, fracture density, meteorological(the maximum daily rainfall),earthquake, vegetation coverage, human engineering activities, disaster density, the scale of the disaster to build a geological hazard evaluation system. The AHP was applied to assure the value of indexes, the method of fuzzy comprehensive judgment was utilized to evaluation the geohazard danger of the railway. The entire railway can be divided into low-risk area, middle-risk area and high-risk area. We conclude that the geological disaster risk zoning map along the northern Yu-Qian railroad, hoped to provide some help for railway construction.
