This paper describes the basic theory of magnetism, and its emphasis is on the magnetostatic property of FeCoZr thin films with stripe domain and the dynamic property of FeCoAlON thin films with stripe domain. The discussion list as follows:I. Origin of magnetism, magnetic order and magnetization process.Generally speaking, the magnetism of any materials comes from its inner atoms, while the magnetism of the atom results from its inner core and circling electrons, but the inner core almost does no contribution to the magnetism of the atoms, then the magnetism of the atoms is mainly from the contribution of the circling electrons. That the circling electrons hold the magnetism is because they have the spin angular momentum and orbital angular momentum. However, when the atoms are assembled to compose the crystal, patrician orbital angular momentums will be suppressed and they will not work in the magnetism of the atom or the magnetism of the crystal. So the magnetism of the crystal is mainly from the spin angular momentum of the circling electrons. Meanwhile, the spin angular momentums between any two nearest atoms interact each other usually, if there is no interaction between any two nearest atoms in some material, this material is called paramagnetic substance, when there is strong interaction, which let the two spin angular momentum parallel each other, this kind of material is called the ferromagnetic substance.Ⅱ. The magnetostatic properties of FeCoZr thin films with stripe domain. The analysis of the magnetostatic property is based on the micromagnetic simulation generally. However, it also can get result by simplifying the complicated layout of magnetic moments in stripe domain. We simplified the stripe domain into a special kind of laminated domain. This simplified model not only breaks through the limitation that the deviation angle of magnetic moments from the surface plane should be very small, but also explains the coercivity well.Ⅲ. The multiple peaks resonance of FeCoAlON thin films with stripe domain. Most magnetic material films show a single magnetic resonance peak of permeability spectra, it usually comes from the natural resonance of magnetic materials. Some simple multiple peaks are also reported, which are generally ascribed to the coexistence of different types of resonance. The multiple peaks of permeability spectra of the magnetic film with a stripe domain structure, obey a particular law:the intervals are equal between any two nearest peaks. Although some theory of explanation based on the spin waves has been set up, we tried to apply the phonon theory to the "spin lattice", it explained the multiple peaks better.
