The fine3-D seismic data interpretation on Dehui fault depression inSongliao Basin was conducted for mapping the top structure of each reflection layer,recognizing the structural framework of each reflection stratum and the distributionfeatures of faulting system, understanding the structural evolution history anddetermining the distribution rules of faulting and the active times of fault. Thedistribution features and active times of volcanic rock were understood. Based onanalysis on faulting, the faulting times and its relation with reservoir distribution wereknown. The early antithetic fault formed barrier to oil and gas, which was easy toform primary gas pool. The late reversed fault damaged the early-formed reservoir,which was easy to form secondary hydrocarbon reservoir.
