That a series test of parameters of various photometric must be involved in when LLL (Low Light Level) night vision product are producing or inspecting, such as illuminance, luminance, contrast, resolution, transmittance, luminance gain, stray light, etc. To improve product quality, nice indication accuracy and reliable quantity transmission of photometric measurement instruments are needed. Photometric is a developing subject, various photometric parameters are interrelated in quantity transmission. There are many sources of measurement uncertainty in the field of photometric metrology and measurement; the measurement uncertainty may go beyond20%sometimes. Some technical problem about the "LLL night vision production photometric metrology system" was discussed for improving testing level. By the tool of measurement uncertainty, reliabilities of various photometric quantity transmissions were considered by the thesis, the key points of the photometric metrology and testing device were focused attention on. The specific investigations include:Illuminance standard instrument was investigated. In this part, it was discussed that how to reduce the stray light and improve the accuracy of measurement of electronic current and distance, and the measurement uncertainty of indicate error of illuminance meters was estimated.The quantity transmission line of luminance meters of aperture-tube-type was studied.It was designed that how to calibration the photometric of luminance gain testing instrument of LLL image intensifier and how to carry out daily monitor.The resolution testing instruments of LLL night vision instrument and image intensifier were designed and analysted, included of a transmission-type instrument, two kinds of reflection-type instruments and two kinds of light source unit. And the contrast of the resolution boards of these instruments was discussed by the view of spectrum, pointed out that the current definition of contrast is imperfect, that the spectral characteristics of bright and dark lines must be considered when we design a resolution board to test LLL night vision products.In brief, it is helpful to the overall development of the "LLL night vision production photometric metrology system" by the investigation of photometric in this thesis.
