As the most important thing of biological organisms, protein plays an important role in the movement of all kinds’life. Research on protein folding models is one of the core issues not only to understand the mechanism of protein folding but also has a wider application prospect. The contents of this paper are as follows:1. The prediction of protein folding rate base on residues contact number. When Ca atom as characteristic achieves0.832correlation with folding rates determinant of experimentally for two and multi-state proteins, with N atom as characteristic achieves0.903correlation with folding rates, which illustrates that the residues interactions of a protein is an important determinant of the protein folding rate. The jack-knife test also suggest that the prediction effect of N atom as research object is superior to Cαatom.2. The prediction of protein folding rate base on hydrophobic value distance of sequence. This adopted hydrophobic value vibration to extract the sequence order information. Using Jackknife cross test to check the62proteins, the correlation coefficient is0.704. It means that the amino acid hydrophobic force is an important factor to influence the folding rate.3. The prediction of protein folding rate base on hydrophobic value vibration. Which adopted hydrophobic value vibration to extract the sequence order information, established the linear regression model to predict the protein folding rate. Using Jackknife cross test to check the62proteins, the correlation coefficient is0.804. It means that the sequence order information plays an important role in protein folding. This method has advantages feathers in simple computation, less parameters and so on.4. Using the Hamilton-path model studied distances distribution problems in the4class based on graph theory. The variance analysis shows that distance (3.78A-3.79A and3.89A-3.90A) has significant differences in different protein structures. Which illustrate that graph theory can be used in this issue. It provided a new idea for the next research.
