The tree-ring data is widely used in the study of the past climate changes, for its accuratedating, continuous record, high resolution, extensive distribution, easy to sampling andduplicating, and so on.With tree-ring width of Jingou ridge and Laoye ridge in changbai mountain area assubstitution index, this article basing on the theory and method of dendroclimatology, analyses the relationship between tree-ring width of Taxus cuspidata and climatic factors andreconstructs the mean lowest temperature of last Oct. to Mar. during1811-2010in Jingouridge. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Basing on the demands of dendroclimatology and this study, we finally use Taxuscuspidate as the object.(2)The correlation analyses showed that the series processed by normalization containrelatively strong temperature signal of the mean lowest temperature of last Oct. to Mar., andthe correlation coefficient is0.461(p<0.05).(3)Basing on the correlation analyses with meteorological data, we reconstructed themean lowest temperature of last Oct. to Mar. during1811to2010in Jingou ridge. Thereconstructed result indicates that it appeared slow down trend during1811-1912and havebeing appeared rapid rise since1912. And according to the comparison to other studies, wefound that the changed trend of the mean lowest temperature in months in Jingou ridge issame to the trends of annul temperature of the northern hemisphere and northeast area.
