In recent years, it is drawing more and more attention on the higher-ordercoherence of the light field by the scholars at home and aboard. Classical theorymainly studied the first-order coherence property, which studied the degree of thephase difference. The traditional coherent light source is not absolutely coherent, onlythe LASER can give out the completely coherent optical field. Hanbury Brown andTwiss created a new interference experiment, which broke the traditional optics’ limitand created the physical meaning of coherence. This experiment was called HBTexperiment. the intensity correlation of the optical field is measured in the HBTexperiment. It is the high order correlation of the optical field.The first ghost imaging experiment was performed by Maryland university’scolleagues Shih’s group in Maryland University, which is based on quantumentangled photon pairs from spontaneous parametric down-conversion in anonlinearcrystal. After several years, people reached on the characteristics of the two-photonlight source.On the first they think entangled light source is the necessary conditionsfor the ghost imaging. With the development of research, people found the classiclight can also do ghost imaging, and without the aid of the lens can help. People dolens ghost imaging and high order ghost imaging using the classic light source. Howto improve the visibility and quality has been the main problem of study.This paper use the method of classics optics and statistics optics, deducing thirdorder ghost imaging apply the theory of optical transfer function and correlationfunction on the base of HBT experiment. And use the actual experimental parameterson its numerical simulation, obtained the partially coherent light ghost imaging. Thevisibility of third order ghost image is higher than second order ghost image’s.Thisconclusion is consistent with the completely incoherent light, playing a role in thenext step of the experiment. Others, the experimental study the transverse coherenceand longitudinal coherence of third order HBT with the pseudo-thermal light. We findthat the visibility of transverse and longitudinal are one half when the two detectorssynchronous scanning, which higher then second order with the same condition.Especially, the visibility reach five-sevenths when the two detectorsasynchronous scanning. But the scan rang when asynchronous scanning is narrowerthan when asynchronous scanning.
