Many mammalian species faced limited resources during fall and winter whichmight be under strong selective pressure, and then some of them became seasonalbreeding. In the genomic level, however, it is still unclear whether the seasonalbreeding species or the non-seasonal breeding species are under positive selection. Here, we analyzed the evolution of genome-wide genes of non-seasonal breedingspecies and seasonal breeding species by the branch-site models to evaluate whetherthey were under positive selection. We found that much more genes were underpositive selection in the seasonal breeding species than those in the non-seasonalbreeding species. Finally20genes were filtered out in both close lineages and distantlineages by the strict screening condition of p<=0.001, adjusted p... |
