In the background of global warming, extreme weather events frequent hasbecome a reality, the factors of climate system are closely related with each other. Iftemperature change, other factors also changed that lead to the changes of the wholeclimate system, all kinds of extreme climate events would appear. The extremeclimate events have serious influence on human society and economy. The temperature data used for the study came from four meteorological stationsin the regions of Temperate Continental monsoon climate zone and Temperatemaritime monsoon climate zone, the basic features of the main extreme temperatureindexes change were analyzed with climate trend index and Mann-Kendall mutationtest. A comparison of the main extreme temperature indexes of two different climatetype regions indicates that there are similarities and differences of extremetemperature change between two different climate zone. The result shows that, the trend of extreme temperature events is same of twotypes temperate monsoon climate. The annual mean maximum (minimum)temperature showed upward trend, mean minimum temperature of winter and springincreased obviously than mean maximum temperature; There were no significantchange of annual extreme highest temperature and each season extreme highesttemperature; Daily temperature range and frost days were significantly reduce; Colddays and cold nights and warm days were decreased, while warm nights showedincreasing trend. The rate of Continental monsoon climate change is general higherthan the maritime monsoon climate, but the rate of Sapporo in maritime climate is ashigh as Changchun, even higher than the Changchun, and rate of other three sites inmaritime climate zone are significantly slowly than the rate of Changchun. There aresimilarities and differences of climate abrupt time of extreme temperature indexesbetween two different climate zone.
