Digital holography(DH) is a new holographic technique, which is a combination of optical holography, photovoltaic technology and computer technology. It uses a Charged-coupled Device(CCD) camera to replace the traditional holographic material for hologram recording and uses a computer to simulate the optical diffraction process of wave front for reconstructing the original object field, and achieving the distribution of the original wave front. DH achieves digitalization of the recording, storage, transmission and reconstruction of the digital hologram. DH is a non-contact, quasi-real-time, high sensitivity, high resolution and full visualization imaging and measuring technology for characterization of three-dimensional micro-structure in medical diagnosis, shape measurement, the recognition and so on.With the continuous development of the computer technology, image technology has been an explosive development, and with the development of the high-resolution CCD, the technology of digital holography is also gaining more attention. It has been applied to a variety of area. At present, the related products of digital holography have already researched and developed in some countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Singapore. However, there is a great disparity in the practical products of digital holography between Chinese and foreign. For speeding up the development of China’s digital holography and accelerating the development process of the digital holography products, it is needed to develop a system of digital holography with recording and reconstruction together. It is to tending to be more practical.In this thesis, we analysis the basic principle of the digital holography and simulated them, and optimize the algorithm of the reconstruction, and we consider the needs of the actual. We integrate the module of recording and reconstruction of the digital holography using the development platform of Visual C++6.0with the software of the MATLAB and the Measurement Studio. It is achieved systematic and integrated the recording and reconstruction of digital holography and other post-processing features. It is greatly facilitate the research work, so that it tends to be more practical and more conductive to the identification of Chinese Herbal Medicine.
