The research on the response histories and distribution of laminatedpiezoelectric functionally graded structures subjected tothermal-magnetic-mechanical impact loads is very important for thedynamic strength of structures. Especially the investigation on theresponse histories and distribution of dynamic stress, electric potentialand magnetic intensity perturbation of structures has been a majorresearch area to reveal the dynamic mechanism of functional structuresubjected to thermal-magnetic-mechanical impact loads. This paper presents an analytical method to solve the transientresponse of laminated piezoelectric functionally graded structuressubjected to thermal-magnetic-mechanical loads. Here, the solution of thetransient displacement govern equation is composed of a quasi-staticsolution and a dynamic solution. The quasi-static solution is obtained bydirect integral, and the dynamic solution is obtained by means of finiteHankel integral transform and Laplace transform. The unknown constants in the solution can be given by utilizing the interface continuityconditions between the piezoelectric fiber layers and the stress boundarycondition at the external surface of piezoelectric laminated structures. Therefore, the analytical solution is obtained for the transientdisplacement, transient stresses, transient electric potential and magneticintensity perturbation response histories and distributions of laminatedpiezoelectric functionally graded structures subjected to mechanical andthermal loads. In examples and discussions, the transient responses anddistribution characteristics of laminated piezoelectric structures, and themechanism of dynamic focusing effect are revealed. Finally, an analytical solution for the transient heat conduction oflaminated graded structures is presented. The result obtained describesinfluences of different gradient behavior of outer layer on the heatconduction characteristics, and reveals the transient heat conductionmechanism of laminated graded structures.
