Type-Ⅱ censoring sampling inspection considers mean life as quality parameter. Theadvantage of censoring life inspection lies in saving inspection time and improvingefficiency. At present, common sampling standards are single sampling and doublesampling inspection by attributes and sampling inspection by variables for normaldistribution. Double sampling inspection by attributes can save more average samplenumber than single sample inspection. Though sampling inspection by variables is morecomplex than sampling inspection by attributes, it can save more average sample numbers.Based on inspection methods above, this paper discusses the question of type-Ⅱ censoringsampling inspection method for exponential distribution. The main contents are asfollows:Firstly, this paper introduces the development history and situation of samplinginspection, and current situation of censoring life inspection. Then the paper gives somesampling inspection methods and properties of exponential distribution.Secondly, the paper makes a study of type-Ⅱ censoring single sampling inspection forexponential distribution, and improves this method, then discusses two situations whichare without replacement and with replacement and makes corresponding single samplinginspection plan tables.Thirdly, the paper discusses further type-Ⅱ censoring double sampling inspection forexponential distribution by researching the relevance between single sampling and doublesampling by attributes, then compares average sample number of type-Ⅱ censoring singlesampling and new double sampling inspection. The result shows that new double samplingmethod can save more average sample number. So the paper makes type-Ⅱ censoringdouble sampling inspection about without and with replacement plan tables.Finally, the paper obtains a method of type-Ⅱ censoring single sampling inspectionwhose quality parameter is proportion of nonconforming units by building connectionbetween mean life and proportion of nonconforming units. Because common samplingstandards are according to AQL for search, the paper makes type-Ⅱ censoring single sampling inspection about without and with replacement plan tables which are accordingto AQL for search.
