Bangong Lake-Nujiang suture zone was becoming Research focus by most geology amateurs. Dongcuo melange Zone is a good place which exposed in the whole suture zone, because of its special natural environment, people’s research about it was relatively low.In the remote sensing image, different geological body and Structure features performance different characteristics. This paper use the false color synthesis image by the America Landsat ETM+741bands. On the basis of study previous data, through image processing and interpreted analysis, this paper obtain the following three understandings about fracture characteristics of the Dongcuo Melange Zone.(1) through image processing and interpreted analysis, Dongcuo melange zone is divided into three secondary tectonic slices belts, Basalt slices belts、 ophiolite melange slices belt and Mafic、 ultrabasic slices belts. And these three secondary tectonic slices belts extend nearly parallel in plane, and convergence to east and west, and thrusted southward one by one in profile.(2) The material composition and geometry structure of rocks in each slices are difference in these three secondary tectonic slices belts, Basalt slices belt is composed by basalt and limestone, and the contact relationship of the two parts is conformable or fault. Overall the belt was north-west to the distribution, Series of porphyritic structure, ophiolite melange slices belt is make up by mafic ultramafic rocks、limestone、 basalt、 granite and sandstone and slate, and the contact relationship between each two rocks is fault, and overall disorderly, net-like structure; Mafic、ultrabasic slices belt is made up by Mafic、 ultrabasic rocks, no other exotic rocks, and deformed weakly, performed lump Structure in plane.(3)from north to south, the degree of deform and mix in the three belts are different, in the north, Basalt slices belts deformed and mixed medium; in the central, ophiolite melange slices belt deformed and mixed very strong; while in south, mafic、ultrabasic slices belts was a little weak. The entire Dongcuo Melange Zone demonstrated a pattern of severe plastic deformation in central and weak on both sides.
